He teaches mindfulness meditation globally, working alongside teachers such as Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, Pema Chodron, and Jack Kornfield. Acharya Lobel is a teacher with Joanna Macy, longtime engaged Buddhist and ecological leader, as part of the groundbreaking global Eco-Sattva training. Acharya Lobel was invited to guide meditation for religious leaders gathered at the United Nations before the 2014 international Climate March in New York and was one of the Buddhist teachers invited by the administration of President Obama to gather at the White House to present requests for action around environmental policy.
